"Birth is the bridge between pregnancy and motherhood"

Incorporating yoga postures, relaxation, visualisation and breathing techniques, you will discover the principles of Active Birth.   This is a practical exploration not just for the mother, but also for the birth partner to learn how to provide both physical and emotional support as you move through the process of labour and birth.

Whether your are choosing home birth, public or private hospital, our Active Birth class educates, build confidence & awareness for the mother and birth partner to make informed decisions about the birth of your baby.

We recommend this workshop from 20 weeks onwards - the sooner the BETTER!

This will give you more time to plan, prepare and practice!  A practical take home information pack with illustrations and breathing/visualisation techniques is included- so you'll have a reference and reminder for practice until your birth.

Feedback for Yoga for Active Birth:

"Thank you for the wonderful 'Yoga for Active Birth' workshop.  You do a fantastic job in presenting the information and demonstrating the labouring positions.  This really helped me to have the perfect birth experience.  ~ Shelley, Padbury

"The Active Birth Workshop was so good.  My partner and I felt more confident and prepared for our baby's birth.  Using the techniques we learned, my partner seemed prepared, relaxed and confident to help me while I laboured with our baby" ~ Anja, Mullaloo
